David Hall 5
TIBCO sent an email indicating that 8207.28 hotfix 4 is out. Whereas hotfix 1 and hotfix 2 used the UNJAR, copy/paste, Jar manual process. It appears that hotfix 4 is back to being a GUI install. Readme instructions for WFC Unix or Linux Platforms: Stop the Application server, HTTP server, and WebFOCUS ReportCaster service. Run TIB_wf-wf_8207.28.04_unix_64.bin. Follow the instructions until the installation process is completed. Windows Platforms: Shutdown the application server, HTTP server, and WebFOCUS ReportCaster service. Extract the content of the file, TIB_wf-wf_8207.28.04_win_x86_64.zip. Run TIB_wf-wf_8207.28.04_win_x86_64.exe. Follow the instructions until the installation process is completed. Before the manual process was not worth the effort. Now with the GUI, we will look to possibly applying the hotfixes

David Hall 5
TIBCO has an integrated version called WFI (WebFOCUS Integrated) It is the renaming of the BUE that was introduced in 8205. Basically it has WFC/WFRS/ETL with Hyperstage. Provides Apache and a repository. Designed for the small office with small IT support group. Problem is that since the folders are not defaulting to ibi, the WFC normal install misses that a hotfix works. So it tries to install a new package. WFI has a folder structure of ibiWebFOCUS_WFI and within that folder is the server with srv and a separate folder called WebFOCUS. This is the recommended install for what was called EUM , now called usage monitor
David Hall 5
There were major issues with the 8207 hotfix install. they did not provide a WFI version. The WFRS hot fix worked, but the WFC hotfix would not see the previous version. This I think is the first WFI hotfix that supports the WFI configuration. Have not tried it as yet. Will report if anything strange happens
