Has anyone linked a Sharepoint site with WebFocus in order to access spreadsheets with a synonym?

I used REST api to connect to the SharePoint 2013 and got the list data. But the SharePoint api didn't have methods for the excel file. SharePoint was storing the files in the network drive and the network drive was accessible using FTP. So created caster job do download the file and build the reports. There is a SharePoint adapter it may have the option.
