Martin Yergeau
You can do it directly from the repository using SQL. Table should be named UOA_USERS
Manoj Chaurasia
Hi Chris Welcome to myibi!!! You can also create a master file for uoa_users and use WebFOCUS if you are not fluent in SQL

Chris Kreilach
Is there a way to export a user list from the Security Center I see the import function but I havent found a way to export. We are currently on 8.2.03 and will soon be upgrading to the latest release. We are looking to clean up our security/licenses and users groups as part of the upgrade. Is this possible
VisuaLizeFOCUS .
We moved to 8207 and we took the users and their groups from SQL and then imported all of them into WebFOCUS repository. There is a specific format of the file in which you can import all the user information into WebFOCUS. Since you are already on 82 version and your repository is in SQL then I guess you can use the old repository just confirm this with IBI. I dont think there would be much difference in WebFOCUS repository table structure and relationships.
Chris Kreilach
Thank you Rajesh. That is what we are planning on doing. We just wanted to clean up our user list before we upgraded.
Clayton Peacock
Hi Chris, Setup the WebFOCUS client rest adapter on the server console. Create the sample metadata and procedures. You can then query the WebFOCUS client repository to get a list of users etc. The WebFOCUS client rest adapter is probably one of the biggest hidden gems. Happy coding, Clayton
Manoj Chaurasia
Clayton It would be great if you could provide an example for people to try. One thing to remember is that the client rest adapter is a extra licensed option so be aware of that.
