  1. Hi Patrick. I checked the ReportCaster Configuration and everything matches what your screenshot shows. I updated the Description of the report and saved it. That saved just fine. I refreshed, cleared cached, signed out and signed in... Still having issues with the report library check box. When I first created the report, and tried to schedule it, I only saw the "Report Library" option. No email option. After that, I opened Properties, Advanced tab, and deselected the "Restrict schedule to Library only" box, and clicked Save. The screen flashed briefly, and the "Restrict schedule to Library only" box re-selected itself. Now, if I look at the schedule options for that report, I can see the other options... even though that check box is still selected. I cannot turn this off. After seeing this, I skimmed through other reports to see if they have the same check box selected. Some do. It seems random... I had another schedule that failed to email today because of this same issue. When I opened the Tasks tab in that schedule, it gave me an error message about "report library", but I didn't screenshot it (sorry)... I went into the report properties, deselected that check box, and that actually worked. I was able to run the schedule. But my other report will not let me deselect the check box. I'm not sure why some reports do and some don't. I also don't know why this happened all of a sudden. I have created many schedules over the past few years and have never seen this.
  2. I just created a new report, and I tried creating the schedule to email me results, but I noticed that "Report Library" was my only option to schedule. Then, I opened the report's Properties, and I found in the Advanced tab (at the bottom) that "Restrict schedule to Library only" was selected as default. I tried deselecting it and saving, but it keeps reselecting it after I save... This report doesn't seem to have anything unusual inside of it. I have never seen this before. I don't think anyone changed admin settings in our webfocus environment. Does anyone have any ideas? We are on version 9.1. Thanks.
  3. Hello, We have many Webfocus users across different departments. Over the years, we have seen folders moved, copied, renamed, etc. If someone is viewing a portal that someone else created, and they want to find the reports used within that portal, they will sometimes get lost in the folders. It can be difficult to find the exact report. I am trying to use the WF Repository tables to gather an inventory of all portals, the pages used in those portals, and the reports used in those pages. Has anyone done this before? I've been looking through old focal point posts, but I haven't found anything. So far, I have been able to create a list of portals, and the pages used in those portals. But I'm struggling to get a list of reports used in the pages... Here is my SQL: SELECT PRT.WFBIP_PORTAL_DEF_FOLDER_PATH AS PRT_PATH, PAG.WFBIP_PAGE_PATH AS PAG_PATHFROM [WFRep2_Prd2].[dbo].[WFBIP_PPP_MAP] MAP LEFT OUTER JOIN [WFRep2_Prd2].[dbo].[WFBIP_PORTAL] PRTON MAP.WFBIP_PPP_MAP_PORT_ID = PRT.WFBIP_PORTAL_ID LEFT OUTER JOIN [WFRep2_Prd2].[dbo].[WFBIP_PAGE] PAGON MAP.WFBIP_PPP_MAP_PAGE_ID = PAG.WFBIP_PAGE_IDORDER BY PRT.WFBIP_PORTAL_DEF_FOLDER_PATH ASCThis just provides the paths to the portals and pages. There might be better ways to do that. I'm learning these tables through trial and error 😀 Also, I noticed that portals built in the new Designer portal editor do not appear in this list... Could those be stored in a separate table? I'm not sure if this is possible, but any help is appreciated. Thanks! Cory
  4. Hi, I have been using the webfocus repository tables to gather an inventory of reports, failed schedules, and other things. I am now trying to create an inventory of synonyms. I basically want a list of all synonyms, their connections, and the table names that they're hitting. Is it possible to query this info? I have not found anything in the wf repo tables or online, but maybe I missed it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Cory
  5. Refreshing the search indexes solved our issue. Thanks!
  6. Hi, We recently upgraded to 9.1, and noticed that the search tool is not working the same as in version 8207. We have many reports that are titled with a reference number in parentheses. Example: "(021) Daily Payment Report" When I look up "021" in the new search tool, I get no results. I've also tried looking up "(021)" and "Daily Payment Report" but nothing seems to find this report. I created a copy of the report and took out the parentheses. I can find that copy easily. So, it appears that any parentheses in the Title of a report will eliminate that report from any search attempts. Is this expected behavior in the new search tool? Does anyone know if there's a setting I can adjust to fix this? Or does this just mean we need to update the titles of a few hundred reports? Thanks, Cory
  7. Why can't my boss see the information on the right side of the screen? The first screenshot is what I can see. The second screenshot is what my boss can see. Why can he not see the columns in his Application Directory? We followed the same steps, but his isn't showing the same information. I'm wondering if there's a setting somewhere that I'm missing. We're on version 8207.28.05 my view: his view: Thanks, Cory
  8. Yeah, here's the link https://community.tibco.com/s/feed/0D54z00007wFPgVCAW
  9. I can see it in Recent Activity. I just had to scroll down quite a bit. I'll comment on it and see if that brings it back towards the top.
  10. I believe this is the link to the new community. https://community.tibco.com/s/ It looks like they're still working on it. I have noticed a few pages that give me some kind of access denied message.
  11. Hi, I am seeing this error message when I try adding a simple parameter to an InfoAssist report. The Value of this Variable is Invalid! 'IBFS_args' We are on version 8.2.07.28 This is a very common parameter that we have used in the past. When I save the parameter, and run the report outside of the edit mode, it seems to work... It just won't run the report in edit mode. Has anyone seen this before Thanks, Cory
  12. Now I can see some of these comments... I'm guessing that TIBCO is still sorting out some of these issues This has been a frustrating few weeks for us. We just had a big webfocus upgrade during a time where we had no good communication with our community forum. An overlap period with myIBI would have been great... Instead, we are asked to use this space where our posts and comments are moderated. I understand moderating things that are reported/flagged... but not every single post that is submitted. Surely that's not the plan going forward right The helpful community is what made myIBI/FocalPoint GREAT. Please don't ruin it.
  13. Hi, Am I allowed to ask questions about WebFOCUS here Or am I shadowbanned Please fix this... Thanks, Cory
