  1. Between Erin and David's responses I believe I am now able to make this work. Thanks for the assistance! Ben Maxwell
  2. I'm attempting to write a report in AppStudio which points to a table which contains various hyperlinks. Is there a way for me to change the setting so that the above gets treated as a direct hyperlink as opposed to having the need to copy and paste the link into a browser? Ben
  3. Are Walter Blood and Mark Derwin no longer doing Focus Fridays!
  4. Very cool, this was something that Ive never used before and plan to incorporate into my builds as I transition content from App Studio to Designer Studio.
  5. My only issue is the user would have to make their selections redundantly on 4 different tabs vs something them only had to select once in AppStudio. image.png384725 12 KB
  6. I am working in Designer Studio version 8207.28, and I am trying to emulate something I had done in App Studio. In App Studio I was able to create a control with multiple tabs so I could display 6 graphs at a time. Then the user could click tab 2 and view their next set of graphs. image.png1403569 57.4 KB Can this be done in Designer Studio 8207.28
  7. I am working in Designer Studio 8207.28, and I am attempting to create a rather simple graph against the CARS data with the hopes of being able to chain my controls. Let me know if I am doing something wrong here : Simple graph directly against CARS data image.png1392522 119 KB Select Country as England Chaining is not working, I see ALL Cars, and not just the ones from England image.png406709 65.1 KB
  8. I went ahead and submitted a case on this, and the result is they will put in a request for a New Feature. Powerpoint is a very nice tool to showcase the capabilities of Web Focus, and I hope more development will be put into this tool.
  9. The below is a sample of a slide built directly in Powerpoint : image.png1370456 23 KB The Comments section was built using a text box and if a user would hit enter after Comment #1, a nice bullet appears for the user to enter their 2nd comment image.png1342480 22.6 KB When trying to build a HTML Document in App Studio I am unable to replicate this. I have no issues with adding the CARS graph, and I am able to add a text box. But the text box translates rather horribly into Powerpoint, to the point where it is almost unusable.
  10. Is this one of those things which has to be done via code, and cant be done in the GUI I was able to paste the code & have it run, however I am no longer able to open via the GUI.
  11. At some point I will need to revisit my thought process on this one. Thanks for the suggestions!
  12. Hi Sarah, Im still not quite doing something right when I try to chain directly to a master file. When trying a little different example I dragged in County and Car, the 2 fields are definitely not chaining. image.png915281 25.7 KB Now when I am working off a custom fex I created, I was able to chain w/o any difficulties. Notice in the top example how the Filters area is greyed out. My goal would be to obtain a simple example for the Cars file which would chain Country and Car.
  13. Im working in version 8207.28 of Designer Studio, and I am not quite sure how to enforce chaining when pointing directly to a master file. The below is a super-basic chart against the CARS file. All I want to do is chain CAR to MODEL. Can someone provide me code for a simple example where this works Thanks! image.png969519 41 KB
  14. If someone is a WebFocus User, which Summit would be more beneficial; TIBCO Analytics Forum, or the TIBCO Now Trying to think ahead to 2022.
  15. Im super-happy that chaining finally does work (and rather well) in Web Focus 8207.28. Here is my next steps, in App Studio on a HTML page you can change the Display Value of a Filter to be different that the Value that the filter is set to. i.e. Filter value = 88-123 and I would display 88-123 Test Cost Center My filter value come from a field called CC, and my Display value comes from a field called CCName My question is there a way to change the Display from value in Designer Studio
