**CLOSED Trying to get Days and Work Days in month from Variable or using &DATE

Sorry...I want to put yesterdays date in the page header, Ie Report Date: 11/6/2023, Data thru: 11/5/2023.

I was able to get todays date in a DEFINE ...as I recall: TODAY('A10')...I tried some functions to get yesterdays date but there are no examples I have been able to find as to what function to use and parameter values....I was thinking DATEADD....

Use this in a profile (master file profile, universal profile, server profile)

-SET &&D_YESTERDAY = DATECVT(DATEADD(DATECVT(&YYMD, 'I8YYMD', 'YYMD'), 'D' , '-1'), 'YYMD', 'A8YYMD');

If you do so you can simple add

&&D_YESTERDAY

into your report/chart header

Or if you want the DEFINE

DEFINE FILE CAR D_YESTERDAY/YYMD =DATEADD(DATECVT(&YYMD, 'I8YYMD', 'YYMD') , 'D', -1); END   GRAPH FILE CAR SUM SALES  ACROSS COUNTRY HEADING "<D_YESTERDAY" END
