I recall doing this is a fex long ago. How do I make the BY TOTAL HIGHEST 20 a variable. I tried putting &TOPNBR in place of 20. When run , it prompts for &TOPNBR but whatever value I enter always yields no recordsmaybe I need to do this in a define or something

Are you entering 20 with quotes Try no quotes, just enter your number.

If that doesnt answer it,

-SET &ECHO=ALL;

usually provides some good insight.

Ha! What seesm to have worked is in the GUI, up Top alongside the RANK button, where I had typed in: 20I simply changed that to: Variable. Seems to be working!
