Good Afternoon,

We would like to move the user that is used to connect to the database and house all of the environment information from an Oracle database to a Microsoft database.

Is this possible without reinstalling the WebFocus environment on the server

I would recommend you open a case. IBI had a number of migration utilities that would move repositories from one DB to another. 7703 Reportcaster had its own repository on its own and was not part of the 8x repository moving.

It is possible to do, but there are some steps that must be done in a certain sequence.

Opening a case should get you the steps and any manuals or guidelines to follow
