Todd Van Valkenburg Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 I created a case with TIBCO and the answer is SET HOLDNAMES=MIXED Added to edasprof.prf & confirmed that this preserves the case for field names for sql_script hold files. Todd
David Beagan Posted July 28, 2021 Posted July 28, 2021 Todd, good to know. Looks like this is a new feature with 8.2.07. I cannot find it documented anywhere.
Todd Van Valkenburg Posted July 28, 2021 Author Posted July 28, 2021 Hello. As we go through our 8207.27 testing, a new item came up which could potentially impact many reports. Some of our hold files are of type sql_script. Some were created with defines where the field name is of mixed case and these fields are in the output. If you happen to run the previously created fex that creates this sql script hold file and look at the mas, the field names are in upper case. On 8202, the case is preserved as was specified in the fex. Binary and Focus hold file types preserve the case. I am looking around for a setting in the Oracle adapter but it did not jump out at me. Did anyone solve this issue Thanks Todd
