Ben Maxwell Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 Yes - this is at 100% on both monitors.
Ben Maxwell Posted April 14, 2021 Author Posted April 14, 2021 Is there a means to invoke a slide bar on the bottom of the screen when moving a Designer Page from a bigger screen to a smaller screen This was not an issue with HTML pages. Sample CARS charts on a 22 inch monitor image.png953345 18.5 KB Same Sample CARS charts on a 15 in monitor (Numbers look nasty and bleed over adjacent datasets)
Ben Maxwell Posted April 15, 2021 Author Posted April 15, 2021 The issue here is if I would build the graphs on a HTML page, they would successful retain their aspect ratio, and a nice scroll bar would appear on the bottom of the page which would allow the user to slide left or right to view the rest of the graphs. At least in Designer Studio 8.206 the page design doesnt seem to work well when consider the potential different size monitors could be using. This was really a non-issue when using HTML pages. Any chance this has improved between 8.206 and 8.207
Manoj Chaurasia Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Benjamin Please post your code and I will try it in 8207.
Ben Maxwell Posted April 22, 2021 Author Posted April 22, 2021 Im not quite sure if there is a good way to post the code. But heres another simple example of what I did. In Designer Studio I created a blank page. On the page I brought in a test Cars query twice. When run on the big monitor I get this. When dragging this to my smaller 2nd monitor I get this If this wouldve been built in App Studio on a HTML page, it wouldve given me an overall horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page. Let me know if this helps.
Manoj Chaurasia Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Benjamin When editing your post there is a icon (see below) that you can use for supplying code. image.png1066432 23.3 KB I would like your code so I can do an apples to apples comparison in 8.207. Thanks
Ben Maxwell Posted April 23, 2021 Author Posted April 23, 2021 How do I get to the code for a Page in Designer Studio In App Studio I know you can simply go to the text editor, and you are able to view the code, but I am not quite sure how this is done in Designer Studio.
David Beagan Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 How about if Benjamin creates a Change Management package and send to you.
Manoj Chaurasia Posted April 26, 2021 Posted April 26, 2021 That would work. It could probably be uploaded into the forum.
Ben Maxwell Posted April 27, 2021 Author Posted April 27, 2021 I tried to attach the zipped cm package, and I even extracted the files and tried to load the XML files. Both attempts resulted in this error. Im going to go ahead and submit a ticket on this one, and I will report back with my findings.
Manoj Chaurasia Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 You can e-mail it to me at cwolff@tibco.com and I can try it in 8.207 and 8.206
