Im creating a report in which I join one metadata file to another metadata file (the second one is a simple reference table) and save the results as a separate file. Everything seems to be working fine when viewing the data on the WebFocus Server layer, however when I try to create a report and bring in any measures I receive an error stating The value of this variable is invalid! dropTargetID. Im using Designer 8207.21 and have done something like this before without any issues. Has anyone else experienced this or know what specifically this error message means

Weird, you may have to create a case with TechSupport on this one.

Where does the error come from The browser or the WebFOCUS code

Embarrassing solution. Apparently one of the metadata files that I was attempting to join on was already joined on the same table. Once I stopped trying to join on a joined file, the error stopped appearing. I assume thats what was causing the issue.
