  1. OK thank you, David. Must be something on our end.
  2. Is the 'Favorites' on the Home page and in Legacy separate? If go through the Home page > Workspaces and add a reporting object to Favorites from there, it shows up in Favorites on the Home page but not in Legacy. If I add a reporting object to Favorites from Legacy, it shows up there but not on the Home page. Is there a way to show favorites in both locations?
  3. @Paul Thompson thank you! I did end up submitting a ticket to Tibco regarding this and they were able to reproduce on their end. They are forwarding over to programming. Thank you!
  4. Good afternoon! I am having an issue with a choropleth chart I am trying to put together that maps a value off of the zip code. I got it to work(ish) but it shows blank areas on my map and 2554 Unknown zip codes - all of them valid and included in the table. I don't work with ESRI maps very often (aka. hardly ever) so I'm not very well versed on them besides basic mapping. Digging through documentation hasn't turned up anything. I am on version 9.2.1 using AppStudio to manipulate the chart (I tried using Designer and got nowhere). Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! map_code.txt
  5. This worked great! Way better response time - thank you!
  6. Hi David! So, I made a change yesterday and changed the drop-downs to edit boxes - thinking that the drop-downs were being populated with the full lists as well and that might be part of the problem. It still took around a minute to populate all of those edit boxes once the employee name was selected. Since those will never be manually selected I just left them as edit boxes.
  7. I have an HTML that shows several drop-downs related to an employee. The first drop-down allows the user to select an employee from the list and the ones below it populate based off of the selected employee in the first drop-down. I did this by chaining the sub-sequent drop-downs to the first. The employee select list is generated by an embedded request and each drop-down is an Explicit request off of that. The drop-downs populate like they should, but it takes quite a long time (upwards of a minute) to populate them all. It's like it's running the embedded request for each one as the more I chain to the first, the longer it takes. Is there a way to chain the drop-downs to the first without running the embedded request for each one?
  8. This worked, David! Thank you so much for your help!
  9. Thank you, David! I appreciate your input!
  10. Question on textarea input within an HTML form - I have users who are attempting to copy and paste text from Word (and other places) into a textarea on an HTML form I created. As a result, this is giving varied results as (I assume) there are carriage returns, tabs, etc. included in what they are copying. I have tried REPLACE and CTRAN to no avail. Digging through old forums a bit, I saw where a couple of commenters stated to never EVER copy and paste text into textarea boxes from outside sources (except maybe Notepad). Is the general consensus that this simply won't work or has anyone been able to successfully get around it?
  11. OK, so we were able to get it fixed and MAY have figured out WHY it was happening (although havent truly tested the resolution to the WHY as of yet) SOOO after some digging on the internet, we found where several others had had the same issue of subtracting 2 days from a date field. The issue appeared to be with the jdbc driver that WF was using having some issues with date, datetime2, and timeoffset field types in SQL Server. The issue was reported to be with jdbc3/4 and resolved with jdbc42 (according to posts from stack exchange, stack overflow, etc). While researching the jdbc setting in WF, the vendor we were working with changed the offending dates in the db to a Datetime format and the issue resolved itself. So we didnt get a chance to change the jdbc driver and test that theory out but we will try in the future. We have an upgrade coming up so the new jdbc driver may be in place then anyway. So the issue is resolved for now, and we have homework to do later to make sure it doesnt bite us as we bring on new databases in the future.
  12. Good afternoon Toby, Yeah, ran that little test and got the same results. WF shows the dates to b 2 days earlier than the actual date. I turned in a case with Tibco so maybe they can be of assistance. Thanks so much!
  13. Yes, sorry, TABLENAME=ShipsDM.dbo.DM_Accident is a table. When I generate sample data the results are the same - the date is 2 days off. The EBECON01 is pointing to the proper server instance - we have other applications pointing to that adapter as well and they are just fine. I did do some more poking around and there are other dates within that table formatted as HYYMDs - those dates are correct. I tried reformatting the ones that are YYMD to HYYMDs but got the same results.
