I think WebFOCUS 8207 has a setting called Usage Analytics (IBI_ANALYTICS_ENABLE).

When selected, this check box activates a feature that records WebFOCUS events and URLs using Gainsight. Information Builders uses statistics derived from these events and URLs to analyze usage of product features.

When cleared, the feature that records WebFOCUS events and URLs using Gainsight is not activated. If you go to Admin Console/ Other do you see the Usage Analytics checked Im not positive this is the reason youre detecting this call but its worth checking.

Thank you for your suggestion. It seems to have worked. After disabling Usage Analytics, I am not seeing calls going to px-api.ibi.com.

I am aware that we can makes calls to external domains when we have it in the code (ex, accessing external fonts, JS libraries, images, etc.). However, I have noticed in our system there are calls being made to px-api.ibi.com. In our environment all external calls are not allowed. I am wondering if there are configuration settings to stop such calls. Please let us know.
