Kristi Carter
When using an Active Chart option and running the Fex file and selecting to Grid option, how can we get the titles of the Grid to show as the TITLE name and not the actual FIELDNAME in the master file See print screens below. We are on version 8206, using Info Assist for the chart. image.png520544 27.9 KB
Manoj Chaurasia
Kristi I am trying to reproduce this but I dont get the option to choose grid. Does you master file have the TITLE option specified for each field. I suspect it doesnt and that is why the field name is being displayed. Kristi Carter
The master file does have the TITLE filled in. Below is what is shows for METHOD_NM for example.
Manoj Chaurasia
That is interesting. That usually overrides everything. I am on 8206.15 what service pack level are you on. From the browser version you can click on your ID in the right hand corner and choose Help / About WebFOCUS. When you create a Analytical Document report do the column headings display properly
Kristi Carter
Yes when we do a regular Analytics Document (AHTML) the column headers work just fine (I just created a quick report using the same data set as the chart and all is good). Below is the information on what version we are on:
Manoj Chaurasia
Kristi That is exactly what I have I think you should open a case with techsupport and report this behavior. Can you post your code for the chart for me as I want to see the syntax. Thanks
Kristi Carter
I actually have already posted as a ticket. Thanks for the suggestions. Attached is the code from the chart after I switched it to the Grid. Chart_Code.txt (17.7 KB)
