Kristi Carter
Is it possible to do a filter in the filter pane for a Date as a Date Range option within 8206 Designer for a chart I am not seeing the option to do so. Below is a print screen explaining further what I am needing. image.png1043537 42.2 KB
Charles Morris 2
I would set up separate DEFINE columns for the Start and End Date and then use those for the filters
NYCBabak .
This is in fact the default setting for Date parameters in 8207. When you prompt for a date field this is what youll see in 8207: image.png804657 32.6 KB
Kristi Carter
That is a great idea, I will give that a try. Thanks.
Kristi Carter
Thanks for the information. I did realize that my field is not in a date format either, I will play around with making it a date format and see my options.
Pawan Vuppala
Once you have your date field, you can create two variables &BEGIN and &END which brings two controls to the filter panel. To make it into a Range selector, you click both controls and right click>Combine
