Is it possible to do a filter in the filter pane for a Date ...

Is it possible to do a filter in the filter pane for a Date as a Date Range option within 8206 Designer for a chart I am not seeing the option to do so. Below is a print screen explaining further what I am needing.

I would set up separate DEFINE columns for the Start and End Date and then use those for the filters

This is in fact the default setting for Date parameters in 8207. When you prompt for a date field this is what youll see in 8207:

Thanks for the information. I did realize that my field is not in a date format either, I will play around with making it a date format and see my options.

Once you have your date field, you can create two variables &BEGIN and &END which brings two controls to the filter panel. To make it into a Range selector, you click both controls and right click>Combine
