Securing the iWay Service Manager Console using SSL/TLS

1.       Open the iSM console (http://hostname:9999) where 9999 is the default port used during install.

2.       Select the “Server” link at the top left of the screen. Select “Console Settings”

Note: Domain Whitelist will also include a fully qualified domain name, not shown above.

3.       Check the “Secure” On box and add the path to your “Keystore” file, “Keystore Password” and “Keystore Type”.

4.       Select “Update” at the bottom of the page.

5.       Restart the “base” iSM service to commit these changes.

6.       When connecting to the iSM console you must now use HTTPS i.e. https://hostname:9999 

Note: It is a good idea to use the same password for both private key and the keystore file.
