Can you add the output of report as a global variable.

We have a requirement to have a date field as a global variable. The date field though has different selection criteria based on many factors. We have this in a report but we want to have the result available to multiple dashboards.

Hi Len

You can enable an universal profile or login profile (a fex) that sets this variable - having this configured you can then use this in any report

Alternative would be a master file profile that is linked to your synonym

Universal profile and master file profile will be executed (and variables updated) with any WebFOCUS server request - login profile only whena user logs on.
