I am using a maintain application and trying to insert a record into the FOCUS table but getting (FOC03797) File ABC is write-protected.

I would like to know how to remove the write-protection.

If the file is a FOCUS file, please use FDS or SU for multiple user update. To do this create a use statement in your EDASPROF and add the location of the MAS and FOC to the APP PATH in EDASPROF and SUPROF. You should also add the command SET COMMIT=ON. If you need help with this please open a case.
