I have followed the instructions in Appendix A of the Install PDF wf_win_82install to configure Insights however the final step is to manually update the edaserve.cfg. While the training I have taken suggests you dont manually update this file I have done so, restarted all services but Insights is still not showing for me.

Is there a setting within the Admin Console I should be updating instead or does the update to edaserve go under a specific heading

Which version of WebFOCUS are you using I havent tried this install but wanted to make sure I was using the same version as you.

Actually I will not be able to install this my machine does not meet the requirements for the install. I suggest you open a case with techsupport to get this resolved.

I am running 8.2.07.26. I just rechecked the hardware requirements and my laptop does not meet them. I think maybe that might be the issue but I will check with Tech Support.

Have you checked to make sure the Insights server is running correctly and you can get to it from a browser See URL in screenshot and throw it into a browser and you should get a status of success. Make sure you test this on the instance your RS is running from.

Hope that helps troubleshoot a little more.
