I have uploaded an external file that is in Excel format. In the load, I selected DATREC - fast binary for Adapter. When I attempt to upload and Append another external data file in Excel format, the 1st file I uploaded isnt listed as a file I can select. Has anyone had success appending 2 external files in Excel format that are uploaded with the DATREC -fast binary for Adapter

DATREC is a disk file (not a DBMS) so I dont believe you can append data in that format. The way I approach this is to append the data in Excel instead and replace the existing DATREC file with the new Excel file.
