Jeanine Noto Posted December 15, 2020 Share Posted December 15, 2020 I have uploaded an external file that is in Excel format. In the load, I selected DATREC - fast binary for Adapter. When I attempt to upload and Append another external data file in Excel format, the 1st file I uploaded isnt listed as a file I can select. Has anyone had success appending 2 external files in Excel format that are uploaded with the DATREC -fast binary for Adapter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NYCBabak . Posted December 15, 2020 Share Posted December 15, 2020 DATREC is a disk file (not a DBMS) so I dont believe you can append data in that format. The way I approach this is to append the data in Excel instead and replace the existing DATREC file with the new Excel file. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
