Brad Gronli
We were finally able to determine that they had missed a step when installing the software. After correcting this, he can now connect. Now he reports that while the character data comes across fine, numeric data comes across as NULL and dates as blanks. Toby Mills
Hi Brad Sounds like at least some progress. Are you generating Master/acx files for the foxpro data or are you using some other method to grab the data Im not familiar with FoxPro anymore. Somewhere WebFOCUS is expecting a different datatype than the adapter is bringing back. You might want to open a case with Support to ask for help with it, but make sure you can read the data okay with some other JDBC/ODBC tool first. We used to suggest DBVisualizer to people as a lightweight JDBC database utility. If you can make a connection and query from there, you should also be able to connect with WebFOCUS. Itll take some digging in on your part to determine where the datatype mapping is off.
